Rachel Alexander

Rachel Alexander has been a member of STC since 1986, first as a student member during her years at University of Central Florida (BA English, 1988), and a regular member in the Orlando chapter. 

She attained senior membership as a Palm Beaches Chapter member in 1991, and has served in many capacities for the local chapter: newsletter co-editor and editor, Vice President, President, Program Committee Manager, Hospitality Committee Manager, Secretary, and Employment Committee Manager. Rachel has served once as a judge for the FTCC, and was awarded the Distinguished Chapter Service Award in 1997.

After 12 years at Siemens, including early stints as Course Developer and Senior Proposal Engineer, and most recently as Marketing Manager for Leads and Target Marketing project management, she's been retired as a result of the company's worldwide downsizing. Rachel's considering several new opportunities and directions, and hopes to telework for a smaller, local enterprise in her next professional incarnation, where she can employ all facets of her communications expertise.
