Elaine has been in the field of technical communication and a member of the STC since 1992. She earned an M.S. in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Physics from Hartwick College. Currently, Elaine is senior technical editor and art director for Lawrenceville Press, a leading publisher of computer educational materials. She has authored numerous textbooks and teacher's guides, in addition to producing the company's marketing materials. A member of the National Business Educators Association (NBEA), Elaine taught high school computer science for seven years.

Elaine has been the newsletter editor for our chapter since 1996. In 1998 she received the Distinguished Chapter Service Award, and has won numerous awards in STC Newsletter Competitions, Technical Publications Competition, and locally here in the Palm Beaches Chapter. Elaine has also been a judge for the STC International Publications Competition.
